Greetings from the East Coast!
Wow! That was fun to write. I am currently living my dream for a few months, living on the east coast. I am a Nanny in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This has been a great experience thus far and every day it gets better. I am working with a great Jewish family and learning so much. They have one child (13) and her name is Annie. We get along well factoring in the obvious adolescent attitude which I am learning how to react to. The parents are very active and the house runs 24/7 and I am trying to keep up.
My Singles Ward has been great. I am meeting many amazing people and learning to love basketball. Living in North Carolina I have picked up on the common interest in college basketball. For all who don't know Chapel Hill is located between the University of North Carolina (UNC) and Duke University both power house teams, not to mention rivals. Oh and a little trivia Micheal Jordan played for UNC before going on to the MBA. It has been fun to get involved with the teams and watch the games, the family has season tickets to UNC and we never miss a game!
I am excited to have started the blog along with everyone else, in an effort to keep in touch with family better as the years progress and life swallows us whole. I hope everyone is enjoying the new year and is happy and healthy. I love you all and miss seeeing and chatting with everyone.
