Life....

Sometimes all we need is to stop and smell the sweet fragrance of the flowers. There are so many things that keep us busy but its in the moments that we step back and recognize the beautiful earth God has created for us, that we find balance and solace in life.

just a little note: My newest hobby is taking pictures of beautiful flowers! Can you believe that my little 5 mega pixel camera took this splendid photo?

A Dream Come True!

With a new semester and many opportunities ahead I decided to take a chance and interview for the Spirit Coordinator position here at BYU-Idaho. Can you believe it they offered me the position. I am a director in the Activities on campus and I am responsible for the dance and cheer teams, in addition to that i am coaching the cheer team. I love cheer and it is a passion of mine, it has been great coaching a team of my very own! I am very proud of them and their hard work and dedication to the sport. I have five guys and six girls on my squad and it is truly a pleasure to coach them. We had a photo shoot in the Ricks gardens on campus, unfortunately I am missing three guys in the picture they were out of tow. I will add a complete picture later.

A trip to Houston.

At the conclusion of my employment on the east coast i made a stop in Houston,TX to visit Vanessa, Dale and Gavin. How much I have missed them, family is the most cherished blessing we have. It was so rejuvenating to spend time with Ness and laugh and truly enjoy every minute of life!
I flew in on Sunday morning and stayed until Wednesday afternoon. We had fun going to the park, playing with bubbles in the house, dancing to Celine Dion, taking some amazing pictures of downtown and all around houston and playing on the beach in Galveston.
My sisters are my best friends and I am just so thankful for the time we have to spend with each other, moving on with our own lives and away from family really makes these visits cherished memories and a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
