Cleansing the Aura !
For the fist part of this semester we had a not so great roommate, she has since moved out which has been BEST for everyone! The night after she left we bought this delicious smelling three tiered candle to burn to cleanse our apartment from all the negative aura. This was inspired from Phoebe Buffay off of FRIENDS.
2 a.m.
It has been said that you learn something new everyday, well last night I learned that the sprinklers outside my bedroom window turn on every morning at 2:15 a.m. I hope that one night before the end of the semester I will be fast asleep before this this seemingly new ritual starts.
Rigby Lake
Last Saturday the ward had a day at Rigby Lake with canoe races, sunbathing and a cookout. It was a ton of fun! Living in the valley of the sun for eight years I took the warmth of the sun for granted. With the "Summer" here in Rexburg we were in the 5o deg. until recently so a day in the Sun was celebrated and utterly fantastic!

Sugar Cookies!
I used our friend, Nancy Lindeman's sugar cookie recipe. I made yellow frosting and delivered them to my FHE brothers, home teachers, the ladies I visit teach and my friend Drew.
I the process of making the cookies, I tried to melt the butter and it exploded in the microwave! I thought it looked pretty crazy! The sprinkles were really the final touch, baking on a sunny Sunday afternoon is the beat way to pass the time.
I made a really cute card that said "your bring sunshine to my soul." I was a lot of Fun!

1/2 Way There!
The semester has officially hit the 1/2 way mark, I feel like time is flying by. Summer semester seems to go by so fast however I am still awaiting to warm weather, it had been around 50 and rainy. I feel like i moved to Washington with it raining four out of the seven days a week.
