Time Goes By.

As the sun burrows behind the Estrella Mountains in the Valley of the Sun, I can hardly push thoughts of leaving from my mind. The familiar warmth of summer creates a blanket of comforting childhood memories, that allow me to appreciate life through the eyes of my childhood days.

These past six weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions and events. I have now finished my internship, spent many exciting nights with friends and spent quality time with my sister Megan and her family. AS I journey into yet another semester I will miss many precious things that are unique to Arizona.

* Friendly faces around town.
* Breath taking sunsets.
* The lights of the city from the top of a mountain.
* The glimmering lights of the star tower and the view from the top.
* Walking the bike path around Garden Lakes.
* Seeing my sister every week.
* The familiar smell of walking in the front door of my parents home and being greeted my a eager puppy.

All of these things make life sweet and make Arizona my home.

Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.

I saw the stars!

It was a starry starry night in Goodyear yesterday ! I love being back HOME in Arizona, I never thought that once I moved from the Phoenix valley that I would consider it my home. Oh, how I have forgotten all the beautiful things to see and do here, even in spite of the scorching heat waves.

Last night I went out with one of my friends from my old singles ward. I had not realized how long its been since I have been out with someone I enjoyed spending time with so much. We went to a great Italian place called Bella Luna in good ole Litchfield Park. The food is amazing (caution the potions are gargantuan) the entire place captures the feel of being in Italy, it's great! To my surprise half way through dinner a very talented musician came out serenading the entire restaurant with his velvet voice, singing effortless what sounded like Italian love songs, it was so beautiful!

So now that we had this great dinner I thought the rest of the night would be pleasant and just like any other, but no! We headed south towards the city of Goodyear and headed too the star tower, this was absolutely the best place to go. We parked in the little parking lot and then proceeded to stroll up the cement path to the star tower. (I decided that a picture was of the utmost importance because this is a structure that must bee seen to capture the full effect.) At the top we star gazed and just enjoyed each others company for a few hours. From the top you can see the light of the city and the starts in the sky, this is now my new favorite place on the west side! It was so wonderful because we had it to ourselves, mostly because it was so late, but I didn't care! :-) I felt like I was the only thing that mattered and I had all the time on the earth to enjoy it.

An Amazing Woman.

My Mother is a very special woman, she is one of the most charitable, compassionate and hard working woman i have ever been blessed to know. She has recently started her new MARY KAY business and I can see how hard she works. She is doing so well! I see her enriching womens lives all around her, and at the same time her inner self confidence shines when doing MARY KAY. I absolutely love helping my mother teach her skin care classes and share the message of MARY KAY. She recently took a business trip to Dallas, TX, where the MARY KAY headquarters are to attended seminar. I found some of the pictures and just had to post them, to brag to all those who read how wonderful and amazing my mother is. I find a new quality in her I admire with each day.

My Newest Love.

My newest love in my life is my new nephew Hunter. He is such a sweet little boy. I am so glad that I could spend the summer in Arizona so that I could get to know this sweet little boy. It has been so much fun to be at Megan and Warrens house on the weekends and play with them and the baby. When Vanessa and Dale lived in Phoenix I spent a lot of time with them and now I have the same great opportunity with Megan.

I know this has become a catch phrase but my sisters truly are my best friends, the ones who love me no matter what, know how to comfort me on my worst days and the ones that I can share the silliest of memories with. Family is a great blessing and I love my sisters. Girls, HAPPY EARLY SISTERS DAY, (I think we made it sometime in august, right?)

The Family

We had a family photo shoot when i got here back into town. it was a lot of fun. My sisters let me pick the colors and well lets be honest thats half the fun. Oh i just love pictures, but what an adventure this was with the three little ones. I jumped right in there and started sining songs to keep the looking at the camera and somewhat happy. thank goodness for primary and whoever wrote "popcorn popping" it was a big hit with Montanna and Gavin.
